Once on board the ROVER Wine Country Xpress, sit back and relax while you are chauffeured through the awe inspiring rural landscape of the Hunter Valley, making your way to Australia’s largest and most magnificent privately owned garden, the “Hunter Valley Gardens”, arriving around 11.30am. Entry is included into the gardens, where you are then free to complete the garden walk at your leisure, see the gardens newest attraction, the “dancing water display”, or you can visit many other surrounding attractions:
The
Rover Wine Country Express will depart from the Gardens at 4.30pm, to make
its way to the “Hunter Valley Travellers Rest Motel” for your night’s
accommodation. Upon your arrival at approximately 5.00pm, make yourself at home
in the peaceful indoor courtyard. Why not bring a glass of wine, make a cup of
tea or coffee, while you read a book, chat with friends or peruse the daily
newspapers.
Day 2: Start the morning off with a continental breakfast, before departing the motel around 9.30am for your full day winery and sightseeing tour. Wine Rover will move you through one of the world’s greatest wine regions stopping at selected wineries and attractions for you to experience the best of the wine country. Sip, swirl and savour the day and take in the famous Hunter panorama with rolling hills of vines set against the backdrop of the Brokenback Range. A place where peace and tranquillity welcome you to unwind, relax and reconnect with the good life.
